Funeral services for Mrs. Adele Lena Kruetzfeldt were held at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning on Sept. 18, 1972, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Joel Wright of Manning Presbyterian Church officiated with burial in the Manning cemetery. Casketbearers were nephews of Mrs. Kruetzfeldt.

Adele Lena Kruetzfeldt, daughter of William and Lillian (Brus) Jensen, was born February 27, 1895, at Manning. She attended the rural schools near Manning and later moved to Bloomfield, Nebraska, with her family where she completed her schooling at St. Mark's Lutheran school. She was united in marriage on July 3, 1924 to Harry Kruetzfeldt. They lived at Aspinwall, Coon Rapids, and Arion until the death of her husband in 1957. Since that time Adele had made her home in Denison, moving to the Manning Plaza in June 1972. She had been in poor health for the past six weeks and died at the Manning Plaza early on September 16, 1972, at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Ella Lamprecht.

She is survived by two children Mrs. Elmer (Luetta) Foster of Humboldt, and Galyn Kruetzfeldt of Storm Lake, nine grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Anna Lafrentz of Bloomfield, Nebraska, Mrs. Clara Lamp of Manning, William Jensen of Manning, Lillian Wegner of Denison, Mrs. Gladys Dalton of Wausa, Nebraska, and Hubert Jensen of Clinton, as well as many other relatives and friends.


Adele Kruetzfeldt is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
