ADELIA DUDLEY

Funeral services for Adelia Dudley were held Thursday, May 4, 1978, at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Jones of the United Methodist Church in Manning officiating. The organist was Mrs. Bonita Hagedorn and vocalist was Mrs. Judy Joens. Casketbearers were William Sander, Larry Witt, Merlene Thompson, Ralph Gehlsen, Robert Phillips and Leonard Gehlsen with interment in Manning Cemetery. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in charge of arrangements.

Adelia, daughter of Henry and Margaret (Hoffmann) Sievers, was born April 11, 1882, at Manning Iowa. She attended the schools near her home and later worked for Rober Wehrmann Company. She later moved to Omaha where she worked as a milliner and in 1937 was united in marriage with Joseph J. Dudley. Following her husband's death in 1941 she continued to live in Omaha and about 1960 moved to the Friendship Home in Audubon where she died Monday evening, May 1, 1978, at the age of 96 years and 20 days.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by several nieces and other relatives and friends.


Adelia Dudley is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
