Mr. Hagemann was born March 9, 1891, in Hanover, Germany, son of Carl and Louisa (Dohmeier) Hagemann, and came to the U.S. in May of 1899. He came to Payette, Idaho, from Manning, Iowa, in 1904, and was married to Mary Asmussen on January 2, 1907. In addition to being a member of the Payette lodge, IOOF, he was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a brother, Carl Hagemann of Correctionville,
Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Minna Jansen of Winner, South
Dakota, Mrs. Augusta Hansen of Wayne, Nebraska, and Mrs. Sophie Ewert of Pierson, Iowa,
and three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his
wife, two daughters, a sister and a brother.
