The 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Beckman, who lives between Manning and Gray, after a lingering illness died last Saturday. Although everything that loving hands could do was done, little Allen could not be saved. His death was caused by brain fever.

He was at his death 3 years, 10 months and 15 days old. The funeral was held Tuesday at the German church in Lincoln Township. Rev. Gunther preached the funeral sermon after which the body was laid to rest in the Lincoln Township cemetery. The sorrowing parents can feel that their friends sympathize deeply with them in the loss of their little son.
