Services for Andrew Henry Boyens, 80, Maquoketa, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 7, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, Iowa. Mr. Boyens died Friday, June 4, 1982, at his home.

The Rev. Edward F. Heinicke officiated. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in charge of arrangements.

He was born to Andrew and Elizabeth (Rohr) Boyens February 7, 1902, on a farm near Aspinwall in Crawford County, Iowa. He attended country school and the Aspinwall School. For 45 years, he lived in Maquoketa, and he worked for Clinton Engines until his retirement. He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Maquoketa.

Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Henry (Emma) Wiese, Mrs. Louie (Elsa) Wiese and Katie Farley, all of the Manilla Manor Nursing Home, Manilla, Iowa, Margaret Schroeder and Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Dammann, both of Manning, Iowa; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
