Reverend Robert Gralapp was Celebrant. Mass Servers were Jared Henkelman and Tyler Henkelman. Eucharistic Minister was Norbert Kasberbauer. Recorded Music was "Here I Am, Lord", "Amazing Grace" "On Eagle's Wings" and "How Great Thou Art" by the Sacred Heart Choir. Casket Bearers were Steve Lingle, Bill Ranniger, Nate Riesberg, Steve Wiese, Bill Henkelman, Maurice Henkelman, Jeff Henkelman and Dale Johnson, Jr. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, near Manilla, Iowa.

Anna Marie Alma, daughter of Leslie W.H. Wiese and Lillie M. (Klusman) Wiese, was born July 29, 1942, at Manning General Hospital, in Manning, Iowa. She grew up in Manning and attended schools there, graduating with the Class of 1961. After graduation she took care of children for other families.

On June 11, 1962, Anna Marie was united in marriage with Donald D. Henkelman at the Sacred Heart Rectory in Manilla. They made their home in Manilla and were the parents of 5 children.

Over the years, Anna Marie worked at Burcliff Industries, Merrick's Lab, the Manilla Manor (in the Activity and Housekeeping Departments), and part-time at Grandma D's Restaurant. She currently wrote the Manor News for area newspapers. In her spare time, Anna Marie enjoyed sewing and especially being with her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Anna Marie died suddenly and unexpectedly at the Manning Regional Healthcare Center emergency room on Saturday evening, December 7, 2013, at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 8 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1982; son Morelle J. Henkelman in 1998; brothers in law Alfred Henkelman, Edward Henkelman, Kenneth "Jack" Henkelman, James Henkelman, and Clarence Henkelman as a young boy; and sisters in law Sidona Jarvis, Mildred Nissen, Viola Ranniger and Patricia Lingle.

Anna Marie is survived by her children Donald A. Henkelman (Jan) of Dow City; Maurice A. Henkelman of Manilla; Sandra K. Williams (Harold) of Oregon; and Dale K. Henkelman of Dow City; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother Darrel Wiese (Phyllis) of Manning; brothers in law Maurice Henkelman (Julie) of Manilla and Morelle Henkelman of Manilla; other relatives and friends.
