MRS. ANNA JANSEN
Mrs. Anna Dorothea Jansen, 85, of Aspinwall, died Wednesday morning, November 12, 1969, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, with burial in Iowa Township Cemetery, Crawford County. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Rushing, minister of the Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Jansen, daughter of Henry and Dorothea (Schroeder) Kuhl, was born in Iowa Township May 15, 1884, and attended school near her home. She was married at her home to Henry Jansen on February 20, 1907. The couple farmed in Lincoln Township for two years and then in Iowa Township until moving to an acreage at the edge of Aspinwall in 1936. She had lived in Aspinwall since 1953. Mr. Jansen died January 30, 1967.

Surviving are four children, Mrs. Emma Steffen, Iowa Falls; Henry of Manning; Mrs. Averill (Hilda) Vinke, Westside; and Alvin of Aspinwall; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Roy Georgius; one grandchild and four brothers, Charles, Rudolph, Adolph, and Gus Kuhl.
