Aspinwall, Iowa, June 17, 1929. The people of this locality were shocked on Monday Morning when it was learned that Mrs. Chris Ehrichs had passed away in the hospital in Cherokee around 9:00 o'clock Sunday evening. Kidney trouble with other complications setting in was the cause of her untimely death. She became ill about six or seven weeks before her death and was removed to the hospital on Wednesday, May 29th. All that medical skill and loving hands could do was done, but all was of no avail. Mrs. Ehrichs was a highly respected lady and she will be greatly missed by her relatives and friends.

Anna Ehrichs, nee Schroeder, was born in Carroll County in the year 1880. Growing up to womanhood, she was married to Mr. Charles Kruse, March 8, 1903. To this union three sons were born. The deceased leaves to mourn her death her bereaved husband, Mr. Chris Ehrichs, three sons, Harry Kruse, Edward Kruse and Arthur Kruse, one daughter, Marie Ehrichs, her mother, Mrs. Henry Schroeder of Manning.
