Anthony Bruns, 37, of Springhill, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020.

Anthony John Bruns was born on February 20, 1983, in Shenandoah, Iowa. He graduated from Boyer Valley schools in Dunlap, Iowa. Anthony was the proud father of Lucas, Xavier, Isiah, Kyisha, and Kearah.

Anthony loved football especially cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed listening to music, tinkering with bicycles, and going fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time and being a father to his kids.

Anthony is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Oldham and uncle, Jack Oldham.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Glennis McCotter and her husband, Rick; children, Lucas Bruns, Xavier Bruns, Isiah Bruns, Kyisha Bruns, and Kearah Bruns all of Springhill, Louisiana; sisters, Crystal Bruns (Jacob Henson) of Benton, Louisiana, and children Seth Henson and Hadden Bruns; Tisha Kruse (Jonathan Leonardi) of Atlantic, Iowa; maternal grandmother, Alice Terry of Springhill, Louisiana; other relatives and a host of friends.
