Arthur Israel, whose wife is the former Edith Fink of Manning, died this morning, July 24, 1952, at his home in Harvey, Illinois, after an illness of two years. He was 40 years old, born January 13, 1912, in Lane, South Dakota, son of Fred and Emma (Schimmelpfennig) Israel.

Mr. Israel was a son of Pastor Israel of the Lutheran Church at Manilla.

Survivors include his widow: two children, Allen and Sue, his father, and three sisters, two living in Chicago and one in California.

Burial will be in Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago. Mr. Israel's mother and other members of the family are buried there.

Mrs. Israel's parents, Dr. and Mrs. William H. Fink of Manning, are leaving for Chicago today.
