Mrs. Ehrichs Funeral Rites On Saturday
Funeral services for Bertha C. Ehrichs, 88, 1111 South Sixth Street, Norfolk, Nebraska, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Howser Mortuary. The Rev. Jordan Arft, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church at Pierce, will officiate, and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. The body will lie in state Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Howser Mortuary.

Mrs. Ehrichs died Wednesday evening at a local hospital. She was the former bertha Schroeder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich and Wiebke (Oltermann) Schröder, and was born February 7, 1886, in Crawford County, Iowa. She married John Ehrichs on February 21, 1906. They resided for a time at Aspinwall, Iowa, then at Bloomfield, Nebraska, for a year before coming to Norfolk in 1924.

Mr. Ehrichs died in October 1949. Mrs. Ehrichs was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister and two brothers.

Surviving are three children, Herbert Ehrichs and Mrs. George (Alice) Thomas, both of Norfolk, and Mrs. Guy (Malinda) Anderson of Randolph, 8 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
