Mrs. Blanche Grelck, 74, Manning, died in her home Saturday, Sept. 8. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Manning Cemetery, with the Rev. Joel Wright of the Presbyterian Church officiating.
Mrs. Grelck was born Jan. 6, 1899 in Aspinwall, the daughter of Harry and Elvira Swearingen Hays. She attended Manning schools and graduated from Manning High School. On June 10, 1921, she married Henry Grelck in Iowa City. The couple made their home in Manning.
Mrs. Grelck was a member of the Presbyterian Church, V.F.W. auxiliary, and the American Legion auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyle and Earl. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Grimm, Manning; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Doolittle, Des Moines; Mrs. Delpha White, Park Rapids, Minn.; Mrs. Erma Wiese, Aspinwall; and Mrs. Enid Barsby of Manning.
Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning after 1 p.m. Monday.


Blanche Grelck is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
