C.H. Freetly, aged 29 years, died at his home in this city at 4 o'clock Monday morning of tuberculosis. Mr. Freetly and family came to this city from Lake City, Iowa, last December in the hope of benefiting his health, he having been benefited by spending a winter here a few years ago. His father, J.H. Freetly, and his uncle, W.C. Freetly, arrived the latter part of last week and were present at his death. Mr. Freetly was the youngest child. He leaves a wife and three children, his father and mother, four brothers and one sister and a number of relatives to mourn his loss. A short funeral service was held at the M.E. Church Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. G.W. Frazier, after which the remains were taken to this old home at Lake City, Iowa, by the grief-stricken wife, father and uncle for interment. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their great loss.
