CARL HERMAN KUHL
Funeral services for Carl Herman Kuhl, 78, were held on Tuesday morning,
October 11, 1966, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, with Pastor Edward Heinicke officiating; organist
Dorothy Kusel. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. The body remained at the Ohde Funeral Home until time of rites.
Son of Marcus and Anna Kuhl, he was born December 18, 1887, in Iowa Township, Crawford County, and lived on the same farm with his parents all his life. Following their death, he lived on the farm with his sister, Ida. They retired and moved to Manning twenty-four years ago. Miss Kuhl died on February 6, 1956, and he continued to make his home on Second Street until moving to the Manning Plaza several months ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers in infancy; a brother, Ed Kuhl and two sisters, Mrs. William Anthony and Ida Kuhl.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Ed Kuhl of Manning, nieces and nephews.
He died at the Manning Plaza on Saturday afternoon, October 8th.
