Carol was united in marriage with Robert Hagedorn on August 16, 1959, at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning. Four children were born to this union. In addition to being a homemaker, Carol worked for over twenty years as a bookkeeper at Rasmussen Lumber Company. She was also a bookkeeper for the Manning Senior Center and babysat for countless local children. Carol and Robert enjoyed their "Card Club" and bowling leagues for many years. Carol was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Evening Circle and Stewardship Committee. She also volunteered for the Manning Heritage Foundation and Manning Hospital Auxiliary. Carol loved to support her grandchildren in all of their activities. Her family and friends will remember her gentle and warm-hearted nature.
