Caroline (Vollmer) Bazinet, Dies At Minneapolis

Mrs. George Bazinet, the former Caroline Vollmer of Manning, youngest daughter of Frank Vollmer, passed away Monday, September 21, 1942, in a hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she had been a patient for about a week. She had planned to return to her home the day before her death.

Caroline Vollmer was born in Manning 27 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vollmer. She lived here the greater share of her life, graduating from Manning High School in 1933.

Her mother, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, her father, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Jul Rowedder, Mrs. Harold Hunter, Manning; Mrs. Frank Melers, Carroll; Mrs. Guy Wilfong, Manilla; Mrs. Norbert Hammill, Sioux City; Paul of Manning; Leo, California; Charles, Walthan, Minnesota; Franklin and Joe, Minneapolis; Jimmy, Wahoo, Nebraska; Mike, in the army in California, and Father Edward Vollmer of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

Funeral services were conducted this morning. Relatives from Manning attended the services.
