Caroline Keane Clark

Mrs. Caroline Keane Clark, age 90, formerly of Manning, Iowa, passed away February 14, 1996, at Grandview Terrace-Royal Neighbor National Home in Davenport, Iowa, following an extended illness.

Memorial services were held Friday, February 16th, at 11:30 a.m., at Grandview Terrace-Royal Neighbor National Home, Davenport. Graveside services were held at noon on Saturday, February 17th, at the Manning Cemetery, Manning, Iowa. Runge Mortuary, Davenport, handled the arrangements.

Caroline Stammer was born March 20, 1905, in Aspinwall, Iowa, the daughter of John and Anna (Heicksen) Stammer. She married George Keane in 1926 in Des Moines, Iowa. In 1956, she married Lester Clark in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away in 1978.

Mrs. Clark had been employed as a Buyer and Sales Person for the former J. M. McDonald Co., in Manning. She and Mr. Clark operated a service station in Manning prior to their retirement.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manning. She was a sixty-year member of Royal Neighbors of America, and a member of Camp 1292, Davenport.

Survivors include a son, John D. Keane of East Moline, Illinois; a grandson, Mark D. Keane of Miami, Florida; four great-granddaughters; and a sister, Eunice Levine of Atlantic, Iowa.


Caroline Clark is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
