DEATH OF CASSIE HORNER.
On Tuesday last (December 16), death entered the family of Mr. and Mrs. William Horner and took there from their bright daughter Cassie. She was sick a week with inflammation of the bowels and during that time suffered untold pain. She was 13 years, 10 months and 26 days old. Cassie was a member of the A class in the high school and the reports of the schools published in the MONITOR show that she had been a most industrious student.
