A Sad Accident.
Charley the fourteen-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Evans, met death in a peculiar way on last Sunday afternoon. The boy, in crossing a ditch, stepped in such a way that he slipped and in attempting to catch himself, broke his neck, dying instantly. This was indeed a sad blow to his parents as Charley was a bright boy and very useful, and loved by all his associates: A physician was instantly called but of no avail. Mr. and Mrs. Evans have the sympathy of all in their deep sorrow. The funeral occurred Tuesday.
