DEATH OF MRS. HOWARD.
The remains of Mrs. Christina Howard, who died at her late home in Lake Park Monday night, arrived in Manning Wednesday afternoon on the 2:20 train. The remains were accompanied by the husband and others, and upon arriving here were met by L.L. Lawrence and Chris Larson, of Wall Lake and Mrs. T.B. Olsen of Kirkman, brothers and sister, respectively, of the deceased. From the depot the remains were borne to the Manning Cemetery where interment took place. Mrs. Christina Howard was born in Norway 44 years ago, coming with her parents to this country when yet quite young. Besides the husband she leaves behind four children: two daughters and two sons. Having lived in this city for a number of years prior to 1890, while she moved with her family to Lake Park. Mrs. Howard will be remembered by many of the older residents of Manning.
