MRS. ALFRED EHRICHS
Mrs. Alfred Ehrichs, 72, of Manning, died about 10 p.m. Saturday in the Tryon Nursing Home at Carroll, where she had been a patient for a month.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, with Pastor George Eschenbacher officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

The body is resting at the Ohde Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ehrichs was born Clara Elizabeth Brus, daughter of John and Anna (Grage) Brus, July 27, 1885, in Hayes Township, Crawford County. She lived on a farm with her parents until her marriage to Mr. Ehrichs September 29, 1909, at Manning.

The couple farmed on the Ehrichs home place northwest of Aspinwall until they moved to Manning in 1942.

Mrs. Ehrichs had been bedridden since suffering a stroke two and one-half months ago.

Surviving are her husband, who is also a patient in the Tryon Nursing Home; one son, John, of Aspinwall; one grandson; two granddaughters; and two brothers, Charles and John Brus, of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Henry, Otto, and Hugo Brus, and two sisters, Mrs. William Jensen and Mrs. Herman Nagl.

Mrs. Ehrichs was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Ladies Aid Society.
