Mrs. Claude Hall rites at Scranton
Funeral services for Mrs. Claude Hall were held Tuesday, September 22, with a private service in the morning at the Huffman Funeral Home in Scranton, and in the afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson, with the Rev Arnold F. Boehnke officiating. Mrs. Arnold Boehnke and Mrs. Frank Miller sang "What a Friend We Have In Jesus" and "The Lord Is My Shepherd," accompanied by Miss Mardell Nahnsen, organist.

Casket bearers were Raymond Borkowski, Paul Eason, Cecil Hupp, Lloyd Pemble, Fawn Samuels, and John H. Wright. Burial was in Scranton Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall, the former Clara Kuhn, daughter of Fred and Pauline (Tessman) Kuhn, was born June 11, 1897, in Shelby County.

In infancy, she was baptized in Trinity Lutheran Church, Audubon.

She was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning.

On June 25, 1928, she was united in marriage with Claude Hall. The couple established their home on a farm in the Scranton vicinity and continued to farm for the past 22 years on the farm where the couple recently resided.

Mrs. Hall died Saturday, September 19, 1959, at the age of 62 years.

She was preceded in death by two sons who died in infancy; her parents; two brothers, Fred Kuhn and Frank Kuhn; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pike and Mrs. Lillie Stuhr.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, Claude: three sisters, Mrs. Emma Wycoff and Miss Minnie Kuhn of Manning and Mrs. Arthur Koerhsen of Walnut, and two brothers, Emil Kuhn and Ernest Kuhn of Manning.
