Conrad Bolte Dead.

Conrad Bolte died January 6 at one o'clock at his home in Wheatland, Wyoming, after a short illness. Conrad Bolte was born in Germany on February 23, 1835, being 74 years 10 months and 13 days at the time of his death. He emigrated to Scott County, Iowa, in 1854 residing there until 1893 and then moved to Manning Iowa, lived there until 1905 when he moved to Wheatland, Wyoming, where he resided until his death. Conrad Bolte was united in marriage in Clinton County, Iowa, on October 17, 1864, to Miss Mary Kahler; nine children were born to this union, two are dead.

Charlie who is here at Manning and George in Wheatland, Wyoming, and the widow and seven children survive him: four sons and two daughters, William, Herman, Albert E., Edward A., Emil H. Misses Emma and Sophia, all reside at Wheatland, Wyoming except Herman who resides at Manning, all the children being present at the funeral. The deceased leaves two sisters and one brother, Mrs. John Writh of Elwood, Iowa, and Mrs. Herman Kaack of Dewitt, Iowa and Henry from Woolsey, South Dakota. The funeral was held at the M.E. Church on Thursday the 13th at one o'clock. The services were conducted by a Lutheran minister from Cheyenne, the deceased being a member of the Lutheran Church.

Mention was made in these columns last week of the death of Conrad Bolte, which occurred on Thursday, January 6, 1910.

Conrad Bolte was born in Germany on February 23, 1836, being 74 years, 10 months, and 17 days of age at the time of his death. He emigrated to Scott County, Iowa in 1854, residing in that state for 51 years. He moved to Wheatland in 1905, since which time he has resided in this city.

Conrad Bolte was united in marriage in Clinton county, Iowa on October 17, 1864, to Miss Mary Kahler, who with seven children survives him. Two daughters, Misses Emma and Sophia Bolte, and four sons, Messrs. William, Albert E., Edward A., and Emil H., reside at this place, while son Herman, resides at Manning, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church on Thursday afternoon at one o'clock, all of the members of the family being present. The services were conducted, by a Lutheran minister from Cheyenne, the deceased being a member of the Lutheran Church.

Mr. Bolte was one of our most highly respected citizens, and his death is generally regretted by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances in this section.
