CORRINE JAHN

Corrine, daughter of William and Willetta Kruse Sander, was born December 30, 1934 in Hayes Township, Crawford County, Iowa. She attended country school and graduated from Manning High School in 1953. On August 8, 1954, Corrine was united in marriage with Wayne Jahn at Zion Lutheran Church, Manning. They farmed north of Aspinwall, Hayes Township, Crawford County. Corrine was recently employed at the Manning Plaza Nursing Home.

Corrine had been in good health until last month then she became ill. She died early Friday morning, September 6, 1985, at her home, Hayes Township, Crawford County, at the age of 50 years, eight months, and seven days.

She was preceded in death by her father; and by one grandchild, Rachel Jahn.

Corrine is survived by her husband, Wayne; by her mother, Willetta Sander, of Denison; by five children: Randy and his wife, Linda, of Arvada, Wyoming; Rick and his wife, Carol, of Gillette, Wyoming; Jeff and his wife, Gwen, of Manning; Brenda, Mrs. Bob Ehlers, of Manning; and Gina, Mrs. Keith Muhlbauer, of Manning; by three grandchildren: Railene and Wacy Jahn, and Jennifer Jahn: by three sisters: Marlys, Mrs. Vertus Groth, of Denison; Judy, Mrs. Marvin Brookbank, of Gillette, Wyoming; and Susan, Mrs. Keith Siefken, of Denison; by three sisters-in-law: Irene Mrs. William Otto of Spencer; Ruby, Mrs. Carl Hauptman, of Lake City; and Geniece, Mrs. Bennie Otto, of Manning; by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Corrine was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, a member and Past President of Aspinwall Community Club Auxiliary, and a member of the 5-Mile House Centennial Committee.

Funeral services were held September 9, 1985, at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Manning. Pastor Paul Krumm officiating. Interment was at Hayes Cemetery near Westside.
