MRS. DAMIA LAWBAUGH

Funeral services for Mrs. Damia Lawbaugh, 91, were held on Wednesday, February 9, 1966, at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Carl G. Sinning of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Born at Madrid on December 30, 1874, she attended school there, and was married to Maurice Lawbaugh on July 22, 1896. They moved to Manning in 1907 and had lived here since that time. The couple had three children. Mr. Lawbaugh died in 1931.

Mrs. Lawbaugh died on Tuesday Morning, February 8 at Manning General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Roy, in 1947.

She was a charter member of Ewoldt Unit No. 22, American Legion Auxiliary. Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.J. (Eva) Feldman, Tucson, Arizona: Mrs. Herman (Louise) Lohrmann, Templeton; two grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sophie Egan, Boone, and a brother, Harvey Harrison of Wooddale, Illinois.

Damia was wife to Morris H. Lawbaugh. Damia was a Registered Nurse and Morris was the Milwaukee Train Station Agent in Manning, Iowa. They had three children Eva, Louise, and Roy.
