Donna Fae Bogatzke

Visitation will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, Iowa at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2005, for Donna Fae Bogatzke. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Manning Cemetery, in Manning. Pastor Daniel Vogel will officiate.

Donna Fae Dorothy, daughter of Emil and Alverta (Barten) Mohr, was born June 18, 1928, at Manning, Iowa. She graduated from Manning High School with the Class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Marvin Bogatzke, June 12, 1949, in the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, Iowa. Two daughters and a son were born to this union.

Donna Fae was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Memphis, Missouri. She was active with the Ladies Aide while living in Manning. She was also a member of the Mr. & Mrs. Group. Donna Fae and Marvin moved to Memphis in 1977. She worked for sixteen years at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

Donna Fae, 76, died Saturday, June 4, 2005, at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

Donna Fae was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years of Memphis; daughters: Gwena Fae Young and husband, Larry of Omaha, Nebraska; Pamela Joy Mickelson and husband, David, of Waukee, Iowa; and a son, Todd Marvin Bogatzke and wife, Gretchen of Memphis, Missouri. Four grandsons: Kurtis R. Bogatzke and wife, Gretchen of Memphis; Logan Bogatzke of Ottumwa, Iowa; Matthew Mickelson and Andrew Mickelson, both of Waukee; a granddaughter, Amanda Bogatzke of Memphis,
