Donna Joens
Donna M. Joens, 58, of Council. Bluffs died December 24, 1989. Services were held Thursday, December 28, 1989, at 11:00 a.m. at Meyer, Funeral Home. Reverend Johnathon Schultz of Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church of Omaha officiated the service with Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Merlin H. Joens (brother of Donald "Bonnie" Joens of Manning); four daughters: Dianne Jones of Glenwood; Martha M. Rief, Sandra Carberry and Janet Joens all of Council Bluffs; two sons, James and Chris Joens both of Council Bluffs; mother, Ella Neubaum of Denison; sister, LaJune Smith of Las Cruses, New Mexico; two brothers, Robert Neubaum of El Paso, Texas and Gary Neubaum of Easley, South Carolina; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
