Mrs. Dora Gosch Dies at Age 92
Mrs. Dora Gosch, 92, of 107 North Third street, died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in the Strunk Nursing Home, 138 Sixteenth place B.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Snell funeral home by Rev. Martin S. Bredow and burial will follow in Center Grover (Ingwersen Cemetery). Friends may call at the funeral home.

Members of the Clinton Turner auxiliary will meet at 7 this evening to pay last respects to Mrs. Gosch. Women of the Mosse will meet at 7:30, both groups in the Snell funeral home.

Mrs. Gosch came to this country as a young girl in 1875 from Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She was born there April 12, 1859, the daughter of Otto and Margaret Schroeder. Mrs. Gosch was married June 9, 1890, to Henry Vogt, who died in 1900. She was later married to August Gosch and he preceded her in death in 1917.

Mrs. Gosch was a member of Zion Lutheran church, an active and charter member of the Clinton Turner auxiliary and member of Clinton chapter 474, Women of the Moose.

Surviving are three children, one son, Herman J. Vogt of Manning, Iowa, two daughters, Mrs. Otto B. (Ella) Roenfeldt and Mrs. Herman J. (Laura) Volckmann, both of Clinton, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one brother, Chris Schroeder of Preston.

Mrs. Gosch was preceded in death by one daughter in infancy and three brothers.

Dora (Anna Dorothea) Schroeder and Henry Vogt were married in Clinton County and set up their home in Hayes Township, Crawford County, Iowa. They moved to Goose Lake, Iowa, in the 1890s.
