DEATHS.
Mrs. Doretha (Claussen) Eitmeier died August 3 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Stuedemann, five miles north of town. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the Stuedemann home, Rev. William Martens officiating, and the remains were interred in the Manning Cemetery, followed there by a large concourse of neighbors and friends.

Mrs. Eitmeier was born in Germany, January 5, 1826, making her 73 years old at time of death. She was the parent of six children: four sons and two daughters, all of whom reside in America.

The deceased came to this country in 1893, settling first at DeWitt where she resided for five years, then coming to this place.
