Edward Hagedorn
Henry and W.J. Kruse of Manning received word on July 25, 1967, of the sudden death of their half-brother, Edward Hagedorn, 65, of Des Moines. Mr. Hagedorn passed away following a heart attack.

Attending funeral rites in Des Moines on Thursday, July 27, were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kruse, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Kruse, Roy Kruse and Bonnie, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hinners, Manning; Mrs. Orville Kroeger and Mrs. Dora Kruse, Westside; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Kruse and LuAnn and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Kienast of Botna.

E.C. Hagedorn Dies; Rites Set
Edward C. Hagedorn, 65, of 1419 Forty-Eighth Street, died Tuesday, July 25, 1967, at Mercy Hospital of a heart attack. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, with burial at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.
A native of Crawford County, born July 4, 1902, Mr. Hagedorn attended Buena Vista College. He lived in Des Moines for 29 years, where he was employed by the Iowa State Liquor Control Commission.
He is survived by his wife, Leona; a brother, Lester of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Edna Frahm of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; two half-brothers, William Kruse and Henry Kruse, both of Manning; two half-sisters, Mrs. Laura Wooster of Rockford, Illinois, and Mrs. Amanda Gustafson of Chicago, Illinois.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
