Eileen Ansorge
Lois Eileen Ansorge was born November 21, 1912, in Manning, Iowa to Lloyd and Elfrieda (Kaiser) Rix. She attended school in Manning and graduated from the University of Commerce in Des Moines in 1933. She worked as a bookkeeper at Dultmeier Manufacturing Company in Manning.

She married Reverend Max J. Ansorge on October 28, 1936, and moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa. Eileen will be remembered for her gracious hospitality, kindness, and ready smile as she served beside her husband in his ministry at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake, Iowa until June 1, 1982. She also worked at Esther’s Dress Shop and as church secretary at Immanuel for several years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family for her love and devotion.

On December 8, 2005, Eileen died at Storm Lake, Iowa.

She is survived by her two children, Jocelyn Worthington of Omaha, Nebraska and Bob and his wife, Barb, of Storm Lake, Iowa; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Warren Rix of Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two sisters, Ina and Delores.
