EILEEN L. ENENBACH

Funeral services for Eileen L. Enenbach were held Wednesday, December 27, 1989, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Manning, Iowa. Reverend Father Ralph Reinhart officiated the service with music provided by Sacred Heart Choir. Interment was held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manning, Iowa with Harold Reinke, Ron Hiatt, Bud Stahl, Linus Heithoff, Merlin Schroeder and Harold Schmidt as casket-bearers. Rosary was held Tuesday, December 26, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Eileen, daughter of Mark and Anna (Lorenzen) Enenbach, was born July 7, 1905, at Wiota, Iowa. Eileen's father was a school teacher and the family made their home in various communities in Iowa before settling in Manning in 1914 where Eileen attended high school.

As a young woman Eileen was employed by the Manning Creamery Company. For many years she was a waitress, working at Emil Kuhl's HiWay Cafe and later at Saunders Steak House. Eileen was a member of the Royal Neighbors, of the VFW Auxiliary where she served as president and of Sacred Heart Parish.

December 16, 1981, Eileen became a resident of the Manning Plaza Nursing Home. She died there early Monday morning, December 25, 1989, at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 18 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by two sisters: Vivian Hoffmann and Phyllas Curl; and by two brothers, Mark and Henry Enenbach.

Eileen is survived by her son, Phil Enenbach and his wife Aloha, of Manning; by four grandchildren: Mike Enenbach and his wife, Jill, of Manning; Valerie Enenbach, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; Vincent Enenbach, of Manning; and Nicole Enenbach, of Sioux City, Iowa; by two great-grandsons, Jeffrey and Joshua Enenbach; by a sister, Perdita Bock, of Omaha; by a brother, William L. "Bill" Enenbach, of Omaha; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Eileen Enenbach is buried in the Manning Catholic Cemetery.
