Attend Funeral.
Messrs August and William Greenwaldt and their families returned from Guttenberg the first of the week, where they were summoned to their mother's sick bed. They arrived there in time to see her pass away. On October 25 the children had all planned to help their father and mother celebrate their golden wedding, but the reaper of death came just twenty-five days too soon.

Elizabeth Greenwaldt, nee Woolgast, was born at Micklenberg, Germany, November 6, 1829, and in 1857 came to Guttenberg, where she died October 1. On October 25, 1848, she was married to Henry Greenwaldt. Ten children were born to this union, five of which are still living who, with her husband, were at her bedside when she passed away. The children are William and A.G. Greenwaldt, of Manning; Arthur, of Newel; Mrs. E.H. Able, of Monona, Iowa, and Miss Anna Greenwaldt, of Guttenberg. From her earliest youth she was a member of the German Lutheran Church. She was a good mother and a kind friend to all who knew her. The funeral services were held at the German Lutheran church at Guttenberg last Sunday afternoon and the remains were followed to her last resting place followed by a long concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.
