ELSA HELEN LANGHEIM

Funeral rites for Elsa Helen Langheim, 73, were held on Monday, December 30, 1969, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manilla with Rev. Nancy Nichols of the Manilla Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Langheim, who had lived at the Manning Plaza since September 9, 1968, died there suddenly on the evening of December 26. She had been in failing health for the past six months.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Rudnick, she was born on August 9, 1895, in Audubon County, and attended rural schools. She was married in 1919 at Arcadia to Albert Langheim. They lived in Manilla, where he was employed by the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul and Pacific R.R. until his retirement.

She is survived by her husband, who is also a resident of the Plaza; a son, Vernie Langheim, Manilla; a grandson, Michael; a sister, Mrs. Olga Schnobrick, Adair.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Langheim was a member of the Manilla Methodist Church, the Woman's Society of Christian Service, a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary of Manilla, and a member of the Manning Royal Neighbor Camp.
