Mrs. William Bornholtz, 90, 4211 Harrison St., died Thursday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Rev. Nicholas J. Ruba will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Porsch, Warren Schreiber, Ernest Maack, Robert Ebriecht, Richard Taylor, and James O'Keefe. The Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock this evening at the Larkin Nothside Funeral Home. Mrs. Bornholtz, the former Elizabeth "Elsie" Shea, was born November 13, 1882, in Carroll County, Iowa. She was married to Mr. Bornholtz April 24, 1917 at Madison, South Dakota. He died in 1960. She resided in Plymouth County for five years and had been a resident of Sioux City the last 50 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the church's Altar Society. Survivors include two sons, Wayne of Sioux City and Dennis E. of Moline, Illinois; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Lucile) Richardson of Hinton, Iowa; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
