ELSIE FRAHM

Memorial services for Elsie Frahm were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bellingham, Washington, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 1986. There will be a memorial service held at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning on Friday, April 4, 1986, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Krumm officiating.

Elsie, daughter of George and Laura (Holtz) Miller, was born November 25, 1911, in Audubon County, Iowa. She attended high school in Gray, Iowa.

On August 10, 1930, Elsie was united in marriage with Herman Frahm. Three children were born to this union: Ardella, Stan, and Lyle. They made their home in Manning for many years where Herman was an automobile dealer. Elsie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Manning and was active in the women's organizations of the church. She was also a member of the Wa-Tan-Ye Club in Manning. Elsie's husband died in 1981. Shortly thereafter Elsie moved to Bellingham, Washington to be near her daughter, Ardella. She died there on Sunday, March 23, 1986, at the age of 74 years, 3 months, and 26 days.

Besides her husband Elsie was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Ardella Mullen and her husband, Neill, of Bellingham, Washington, and their three sons, Peter, Mike, and Jeff; her son, Stan Frahm and his wife, Jan, of San Marcos, California, and their two children, Nancy and Danny; and by her son, Lyle Frahm, and his wife, Darlene, of Beaverton, Oregon, and their three daughters, Jennifer, Katherine, and Elizabeth.
