Funeral services will be Saturday, November21, at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. John Cornish of the United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday, November 20, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Hinners, Lyle Joens, Marvin Hansen, Amos Lohmeier, Willis Lohmeier, and Norman Andresen.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Lea of Omaha, Nebraska; and Mrs. Bernard (Marlene) Olberding of Council Bluffs; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Hertha Hinners, of Manning, and one brother, Albert Andresen, also of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John, and four sisters, Mary Frahm, Martha Hansen, Anne Roggendorf, and Catherine Frahm.

Elsie Lohmeier was born June 2, 1908, near Manning, the daughter of Nicolai and Catherine (Thomsen) Andresen. She attended country school. She married Raymond E. Lohmeier on June 2, 1926.

The couple and their two daughters formerly lived in Manning, where he was employed by the Chicago Great Western Railway. They lived in Council Bluffs for the past 20 years. The couple recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
