EMIL D. GRAU
Emil Dethlef Grau, 36, of Manning died Thursday, May 31, 1973, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Irwin, with the Rev. A.H. Schuler officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers. Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning from 1 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at which time the casket will be taken to the church at Irwin.

Mr. Grau, son of Emil and Magda (Holm) Grau, was born at Carroll May 6, 1937, and graduated from Manning High School in 1956. His marriage to Patricia Birks took place June 21, 1959, and they lived in Irwin until moving to a farm near Manning in 1961. Because of his ill health, they moved into Manning in January this year.

Surviving with his wife are three children, Debra, Lonnie, and Bruce; his mother, Mrs. Magda Grau of Manning; three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Rose) Collins and Mrs. Hans (Louise) Troeh of Chicago, Illinois; and Mrs. Joseph (Leona) Nemecek of Omaha, Nebraska; and three brothers, Alfred Grau of Denison, Irwin Grau of Ida Grove, and Tom Grau of Manning.

He was preceded in death by his father.
