Emma C. Kasch, of Glenwood, died at a local hospital Monday evening, April 28, 1986. She was 86.
Daughter of Ferdinand and Emma (Wiese) Jansen, she was born at Manning, August 28, 1898, she moved to Council Bluffs from Carroll in 1945. She has lived in Glenwood the past 15 months.
She was a former cook for Council Bluffs restaurants and was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Eagles.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Verjane) Steensen, and Mrs. Donald (Joyce) Gaffey, both of Council Bluffs; a son, Keith, of St. Joseph Missouri; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending, with Cutler Funeral Home in charge.
