EUNICE E. FISCUS

Eunice E. Fiscus, 94, of Carroll died Friday, August 19, 2005, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll, her home the last 17 years.

The family will have a private service at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Peg Scheidt officiating.

Burial will be in Carroll Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Corey Bluml, Chad Bluml, Dick Wernimont, Gary Wiskus, Dana Steinkamp, and Marci Wernimont.

A daughter of Julius and Amanda (Joens) Molter, she was born January 28, 1911, in Crawford County and attended Hayes No. 6 country school. She resided in the Manning and Westside vicinity until 1935.

She and Clyde W. Butler were married in 1936. They moved to California. Mrs. Butler moved back to Carroll after her husband died in 1941. She worked at Smouse's Café and the Burke Hotel.

She and R.M. "Scotty" Fiscus were married in 1949. He died in 1972.

Mrs. Fiscus was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Carroll.

Survivors include a daughter, Faye Bluml, and her husband, Larry, of Carroll; a son, Charles Butler, and his wife, Judy, of Napa, California; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a sister, Goldie Booth.

Mrs. Fiscus was preceded in death by her parents and husbands.
