Mrs. Virgel (Fern) Anderson, 96, of Los Angeles, California died January 6, 1993, following a five by-pass surgery. The body was cremated and no services were held.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Virgel Anderson, who was a dentist in Manning, Iowa, for many years until his death in about 1960. After his death she moved to be near her daughter in Marshalltown and later to California.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Cole of Dallas, Texas, and Donavieve Adams of Huntington Beach, California.
