Frank C. Behrens

Frank Charles Behrens, of rural Meriden died Sunday in Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in Cherokee.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley. The Rev. Vernon Cravens will officiate. Burial will be In the Kingsley Cemetery.

Mr. Behrens was born Oct. 16, 1892, at Manning. He married Beatrice Adams March 1, 1917, in Kingsley. They farmed in the Kingsley area until 1944 when they moved to the rural Meriden area. He was a member of the United Congregational Church of Christ of Kingsley.

Survivors include his wife; one, son, Dewey of Meriden, three brothers, Charles of Fort Benton, Montana, Alvin of Wilton, and Walter of Dade City, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. George (Martha) Drager of Tipton and Mrs. Julius (Maye) Meier of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
