Heart attack is fatal to Frank Hell Tuesday
Funeral services for Frank Hell, 68, will be held this Thursday, at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, with the Rev Hugo Hein of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Hell died at his home of a heart attack Tuesday morning.

Son of John and Marie (Bothfure) Hell, he was born on December 23, 1891, in Shelby County. He lived in this area all his life except for 17 years spent in Cherokee County. Mr. and Mrs. Hell retired from the farm in 1951 and moved into Manning.

On December 8, 1915, he was married to Laura Ewoldt at Manning. She survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Verna) Bald, Mrs. Ray (Gladys) Mahnke, and a son, Sergeant Dale Hell, in the US army. There are two grandchildren and the following sisters, also surviving: Mrs. Josephine Hargens, and Mrs. Minnie Musfeldt of Manning; Mrs. Annie Hinze of Ulmer and Mrs. Emma Waddell, Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.


FRANK HELL
Funeral services for Frank Hell, 68, who died of a heart attack at his home in Manning Tuesday morning, April 12, 1960, will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, Manning at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 14, with the Rev. Hugo Hein of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln Township, officiating.

Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning until the hour of funeral services.

Mr. Hell was born in Shelby County, December 23, 1891. His parents were John and Marie (Bothfure) Hell. He had lived in the Manning area all of his life except for 17 years in Cherokee County.

On December 8, 1915, he was married to Laura Ewoldt. They were engaged in farming until they moved to the town of Manning in 1951.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters Mrs. Walter Bald (Verna), Manning, and Mrs. Ray Mahnke (Gladys), Manning; a son, Sergeant Dale Hell in the U.S. Army; two grandchildren and the following sisters: Mrs. Josephine Harding, Manning: Mrs. Minnie Musfeldt, Manning; Mrs. Annie Hinze, Ulmer; and Mrs. Emma Waddell, Andrew.

Five brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
