Freida W. Dunn was born on September 16, 1900, at Carroll, Iowa, to Louis and Katherine (Frahm) Jansen and died at her home in Burke, South Dakota, on July 17, 1990, at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 1 day.

Freida was united in marriage to Reese B. Dunn on November 23, 1927, at Colome, South Dakota, and to this union four children were born.

Her husband Reese died July 19, 1965, and a few months later, Freida moved to Parkside Manor in Burke where she has lived until her death.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. She belonged to the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Burke, South Dakota, and the World War I Barracks Auxiliary in Gregory South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

Freida is survived by three daughters: Margaret, Mrs. Harold Deering of Burke; Delores Deering; Leone; and one son, Donald Dunn.
