GEORGE DAMMANN
George Dammann, 73, died here Monday, January 20, 1958, after being in poor health for the past year and a half.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. Pastor George Eschenbacher, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Dammann was born June 19, 1884, at Dodge Center, Minnesota, a son of Claus and Margaretha (Dammann) Dammann. In 1888, the family moved to Vail. In 1892, the family moved to a farm northeast of Manning. Since that time he had lived in this area, the past 20 years on a farm a mile and a half south of Manning.

Mr. Dammann was married February 21, 1908, to Rosa Kortum at Manning.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Herman, Manning, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Langbehn, Wessington, South Dakota.

Mr. Dammann was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and five brothers.
