George Frahm, 73, died in hospital here October 9, 1958

Funeral services for George Frahm, 73, of Manning, were held at Zion Lutheran church Saturday, at 2.00 pm, with the Rev George B. Eschenbacher officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Kruse, John Rowedder, Herman Hargens, Hugo Schrum,Hannes Bunz and Walter Ossenkop.

Mr. Frahm, son of Detlef and Margaret Frahm, was born on February 8, 1885, in Crawford County. He died Thursday noon, October 9 at Manning General Hospital.

On December 21, 1910, he married Emma Oeser of Manning. The couple farmed in Crawford and Carroll counties, and lived in Carroll from 1928-1931. They farmed prior to moving to Manning in 1938, where they have lived since.

Mr. Frahm is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Marcellus (Evelyn) Grundmeier, Aspinwall; a son, Leonard Frahm, Raeford, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Katie Ohrt, Manning; Mrs. Emma Hagge, Sac City; three brothers, John and Herman Frahm, Manning; and Harry, who lives in California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Detlef and Henry Frahm.
