Funeral services for George Frankforter, 90, who died at a nursing home here Tuesday, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Ohde Funeral Home, the Rev. J.A. Lippincott officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anton Mergele, Paul Kuhl, Charles Lostus, Oliver Jentsch, John Mundt, and Joe Sonksen. Soloists will be Clarabelle Bingham and Ray Pratt.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (Gardner) Frankforter, and one brother, John of Sterling, Ill. Two brothers, Martin and James, and two sisters, Susan and Cora, preceded him in death.

Mr. Frankforter was born in Whiteside County, Ill. in 1865 and came to the Manning vicinity when he was 16. He worked in the produce house here for many years until his retirement about 15 years ago. He was a member of the United Methodist church.
