Died, at the home of her son at Beaman, Iowa, April 11, 1891, of pneumonia, Gittura, wife of Elijah Burley. Her maiden name was Quant. She was born in the state of New York September 13, 1823, and was married September 7th, 1841. She was the mother of seven children, all of whom are living but one. In 1867 she united with the M.E. Church in Hebron, Ill., and more recently, with the Christain Church of Manning, Iowa. She was a true and loving wife and mother. The funeral, services were held in the M.E. Church, Beaman, April 13th, by the pastor, J.R. Cameron.
