Graveside committal services for Glenn John Dick Ehrichs were held Monday, January 4, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon, with Pastor Patrick Chuinard officiating. McHenry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Glenn was born October 2, 1917, in Aspinwall, Iowa. He was the son of Louie and Clara (Eickelkamp) Ehrichs. Most of Glenn's life was spent working in the wood product industry. Glenn worked for Georgia Pacific and retired from Evanite Corporation of Corvallis, Oregon. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and raising livestock.

Glenn was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #11 of Corvallis, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gene, sister Marjorie and his son, Dennis G. Ehrichs.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Corvallis, Oregon; daughters: Emlee Lassiter of Eugene, Oregon and Sharon Edwards of Albany, Oregon; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy Kusel of Manning and Shirley Schramm of Denison, Iowa; numerous cousins and friends.
