HENRY C. ANTHONY
Henry C. Anthony, 76, Manning, died about 8 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 1963, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, where he had been a patient for 2 1/2 weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, with Vicar Dwight Weber in charge. Burial will be in Manning Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at noon Tuesday from the Ohde Funeral Home.

Mr. Anthony was a son of Claus and Anna (Jahn) Anthony, and was born at Westside November 30, 1886.

He was married to Emma A. Stammer March 1, 1911; and they farmed near Manning until moving into town in 1949.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Merle and Lyle Anthony, Manning, and Glen Anthony, Maryville, California; seven grandchildren, one brother, William Anthony, Manning; and one sister, Mrs. Ann Ostermeyer, Westside.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Herman Anthony; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Stammer and Mrs. Pauline Hass; another sister, Ernestine, in infancy; and two grandchildren.
